Noah Pets privacy policy
In force since October 17, 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Ricardo Salomón Ramírez Rozo, a natural person with tax id (NIT) 79324671-0, domiciled at Carrera 84B # 4G-75, Medellín, Colombia, operates Noah Pets and the veterinary practice management platform Noah Club under the trade name Noah Club ("Noah", "we").
Contact: privacidad [at] noah.club, phone +57 316 534 4148. Ricardo Salomón Ramírez Rozo personally handles requests, questions and claims about personal data.
This policy explains which personal data the app collects, why, and how you can exercise your rights under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and related regulations.
Roles
Your veterinary clinic is the controller of the clinical records it keeps about your pets; Noah processes that information on the clinic's behalf. For the data you create directly in the app (your account, pets you add, medications, foods, places, photos and preferences) Noah is the controller.
Data we collect
- Identification and contact: document type and number, name, email address and phone number, as registered with your clinic or as you enter them, and the profile photo you choose to upload. If you cannot receive a code, the name, address and pet details you type to prove who you are.
- Pets: name, species, breed, sex, date of birth, microchip, photos, and the clinical records your clinic keeps (consultations, vaccines, dewormings, weights, appointments, documents and signed consents).
- What you create in the app: pets, medications and doses, foods, favorite places, reminders and notification preferences.
- Purchases: if you subscribe, Apple or Google handles the payment. We receive and keep the store transaction identifier, the product, the purchase, renewal and expiry dates and the subscription status. We never receive your card details.
- Device and security: a push notification token, the device platform and name, the app version, and the IP address and browser identifier of each request to our servers, kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Invitation links: when you open a link sent by your clinic we record the IP address, browser, screen size, time zone and language, only to match that link with the phone that installs the app.
- Location: only if you grant the permission. The phone uses your location to show veterinary clinics and stores near you, and that location stays on the phone. If you ask the app to fill in your city in Profile, it sends us only the resulting country, department and city, never your coordinates.
- Usage and crash data: usage events (screens and features you use) and crash reports, linked to your Noah user id and never to your name or document number. They are on by default and you can turn them off at any time with "Help improve the app" in Profile.
- Partner offers: whether you saw, saved, opened or used each offer. This is always recorded because it is how the campaigns partners pay for are measured.
- Website: this site uses three cookies: a session cookie and a security token needed for the site to work, and one that remembers the language you chose.
Why we use it
- Identify you and send you the access code by SMS or email.
- Show you your pets' health information and keep it available without a connection.
- Send appointment, vaccine, deworming and medication reminders by push notification, email or WhatsApp.
- Send you, by push notification, email or SMS, invitations and reminders to start or keep using the app when your clinic invited you. You can unsubscribe from any of them.
- Let your clinic share documents and consents with you.
- Process your subscription and the Premium access your clinic gives you.
- Show you partner offers chosen by your city, the species of your pets, your platform or your clinic.
- Keep the service secure, detect misuse and improve the app.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Your pets' event log
- You can keep an event log of symptoms and care for each pet, with an optional note and up to 3 photos per event.
- Photos in the event log are stored privately and can only be opened through temporary signed links. They are also saved on the phones of the pet's tutors so they can see them offline.
- You choose, event by event, which of your clinics can see it. If you do not check a clinic, nothing is shared. The clinics you choose see the event, its photos and your name as its author.
- If you stop being linked to a clinic, it keeps the events you already shared with it. Deleting an event also removes it from the clinics.
- The other tutors of the pet can see its event log.
- Any tutor of the pet can share its events with their own clinics, including the notes and photos another tutor wrote, and can stop sharing what they shared. Those clinics see the event, its photos and the name of its author. The author of an event can always remove any clinic from it.
- The other tutors of the pet see which clinics each event is shared with and who shared it. When someone stops being a tutor of the pet through the app, the clinics they shared other tutors' events with stop seeing them.
- If whoever shared an event with a clinic is no longer a tutor of the pet, the remaining tutors can stop sharing it.
- The event log is kept while your account exists. When you delete an event, its note and photos are erased. When you delete your account we delete the events you wrote, their photos and what you shared of them with clinics, and your clinics stop seeing the other tutors' events you shared with them. Events written by other tutors stay with the pet.
- When you hand a pet over, its event log stays with the pet.
Who we share it with
- Your veterinary clinic, which already holds your data as the controller of the clinical records.
- Providers strictly needed to run the service, under confidentiality obligations: Amazon Web Services (servers, database, photo storage and email delivery), Google Firebase (push notifications and crash reports), Hablamé (SMS with access codes and reminders), our email campaign server (invitations and reminders to use the app), Zoho (the mailbox that receives your requests), and Apple and Google (payment of subscriptions). When you open the places map, Google Maps receives your device's IP address and technical data under Google's own privacy policy.
- The people you share your pets with from the app: they see those pets' records and your name, and can add to them. You choose them by showing a code or sending a link, and you can stop sharing at any time.
- The person you hand a pet over to: they become its tutor and see its full clinical history, and the clinics that treated the pet can see their name and contact details.
- When you scan a code on Android, Google ML Kit reads it on your phone and sends Google technical diagnostics (device model, app version, an installation identifier and performance data), never the image.
- Authorities, when the law or a court order requires it.
Partners who publish offers never receive your personal data, only aggregated campaign figures.
International transfers
Our servers and several of these providers are outside Colombia, mainly in the United States. By accepting this policy you authorize the transfer and transmission of your data to those countries, to providers that commit to protecting it with security and confidentiality measures (Law 1581 of 2012, article 26).
How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account exists.
- Request logs and invitation-link records: 30 days.
- Backups: copies of the database are kept for up to 365 days and then deleted; data you delete disappears from them when they expire.
- Purchase and subscription records: after you delete your account, kept without a link to it for as long as accounting and tax rules require, up to ten years, and to handle claims.
When you delete your account we delete your app account, your sessions and everything you created in the app. If you joined without a clinic, we also delete your profile and the pets and photos you added. Clinical records kept by a clinic stay with that clinic, which is bound by the applicable retention rules.
The databases are in force for as long as Noah Pets operates.
Your rights
As the data subject you may, free of charge:
- Know, update and correct your data.
- Ask for proof of the authorization you gave.
- Be told how your data is used.
- Revoke the authorization and ask for your data to be deleted, when no legal or contractual duty requires keeping it.
- Access your data at no cost.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, or follow the instructions at https://pets.noah.club/account/delete.
How to exercise your rights
File your request in the requests, complaints and claims form, which gives you a filing number to follow it, or write to privacidad [at] noah.club. Include your name and document number, what you are asking for, an address or email for the answer and any document that supports your request.
- Questions (consultas): we answer within 10 business days. If we cannot, we tell you why and answer within 5 more business days.
- Claims (reclamos) to correct, update or delete data or to report a breach: we answer within 15 business days, extendable by 8 more business days with notice. If the claim is incomplete we ask you to complete it within 5 days; after 2 months without a reply we consider it withdrawn. While it is being handled we mark your data as "claim in progress".
- Before filing a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio you must first complete this procedure with us.
Security
Data travels encrypted between the app and our servers, access is protected by per-user tokens, and we keep audit logs and regular backups. Protect your phone with a lock screen: whoever unlocks it can open the app.
Minors
Noah Pets is intended for adults. If you believe a minor has registered without authorization, write to us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a substantial way we will tell you in the app before the change applies and, when the law requires it, ask for your authorization again. Every version is published on this page with its date.
